How do I use my DigiTickets?
You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. You may make a note of this number and take it with you when you visit the attraction in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access.
What happens when I buy a ticket online?
On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number. Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number, or if your email is on a smartphone, you can use that to show your ticket booking confirmation.
I don't have a printer – how do I take my ticket with me?
You do not have to print out the 8 digit booking reference – simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, with some ID.
What time should I arrive?
Mead Open Farm is open daily from 10am-6.00pm with last entry at 5.00pm (closed 25th, 26th Dec and 1st Jan, early closing on 24th Dec). If you have booked a ticket for a timed event, such as Christmas Kingdom, you must arrive at least 20 minutes before your booked time slot. Please report to the Entrance Ticket Desk with your ticket and we will direct you to the activity. Each session will start promptly and unfortunately we cannot wait for late arrivals.
Is Car Parking available?
There is plenty of free parking at Mead Open Farm, including disabled parking spaces, and coach parking.
Is there wheelchair access?
Wheelchairs will be able to easily access all the animal buildings and Shaggy’s PlayWorld come rain or shine! The animal paddocks and some outdoor play areas are however only accessible over grass (unfortunately difficult for wheelchairs in wet weather).
Disabled toilet facilities are available within two of the main buildings, and there are parking spaces reserved by the entrance to the Farm for the ‘registered disabled’.
Can I purchase a ticket in-store or on the day?
Yes, they can be purchased on the gate during opening hours, but not at the online reduced rate.
Do you have restrooms available?
Toilets are located in Shaggy’s PlayWorld and near the Hideout and Takeout Café, including disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.
